Why don't you....?

I haven't watched TV for 4 days. I can't think of a day (whilst in England) when I haven't watched the TV, even for 10 mins in the morning. I have been busy, both in my head and physically. I was beginning to think such extreme thoughts as 'Get rid of the TV and do less boring things instead' However...I pulled in to a motorway petrol station today as I got out of the car somone had grafittied a message onto the pump box saying something about not wasting your life watching TV...to be honest that simply encouraged me to reflect on whether watching TV was a waste of time or not. After really thinking about it and weighing up the pros and cons, I concluded not. Perhaps people who grafitti moral maxims should be a bit more detailed and provide some persuasive arguments to support their point of view.
